Shabbatons and Conferences

The Aseret Movement creates spaces for live encounters between members of the movement, through community Shabbatot and conferences and events where we discuss, deepen and connect with each other “as one person with one heart”, as we were at Mount Sinai.

Shabbatons

“Shabbat Aseret” takes place twice a year, on the shabbatot aligned with the parshiot of Yitro and V’etchanan. These are the portions of the Torah when the Ten Commandments are read and they offer an unforgettable experience, encouraging people to come to learn, experience and get to know each other and the values of the Ten Commandments.

Conferences

The Aseret Movement holds annual conferences to sharpen our vision, to share updates and recruit new members to the movement.

Shavuot

Shavuot is the holiday from which it all began! On Shavuot, we have the opportunity for discussions on unity and unconditional love. On Shavuot, all of us, right-wingers, leftists, secular and religious Jews, come together from across the spectrums to try to renew our common discourse about the values of the Ten Commandments.

7th of Adar

The seventh day of the Hebrew month of Adar marks both the date of birth and the date of death of Moses, who received the tablets from Mount Sinai. This day is uniquely marked by the movement; we meet over a birthday cake and bottle of bubbly, and strive to gain a deeper understanding of the man who first taught us the Ten Commandments.

Art exhibitions

The Aseret Movement fosters a connection between artists and art institutions and the Ten Commandments by creating exhibitions that connect the old and the new. They allow for a refreshing and original viewpoint on our connection to the Ten Commandments.
